The published insurance package includes theft waiver, fire insurance and third-party insurance.

Glass, wheels & underside

Cover includes the glass, mirrors, wheels and underside of the car, subject to the permitted use of the vehicle.

Personal accident insurance

Personal accident insurance is included for the driver and passengers, within the conditions of the insurance policy.

Unlimited kilometres

Explore Crete without a daily mileage allowance or an extra charge for the kilometres you drive.

Additional drivers

Additional drivers can be included free of charge. Each driver must be declared and meet the rental requirements.

Child seats on request

Baby seats and boosters are included on request. Tell us what you need in advance so we can arrange suitable equipment.

Taxes included

Taxes are included in the agreed rental rate. Your quote should state the complete price for the collection, return and extras you have arranged.

Is full insurance included in the price?

Yes. Your rental rate includes our full insurance package, with CDW / FDW cover and zero excess for covered incidents. You do not need to buy the published cover as an extra at collection. The rental conditions and insurance exclusions still apply.

Do you take a security deposit for the car?

No. We do not hold a security deposit against the vehicle, and a credit-card guarantee is not required. This is separate from a reservation advance payment for hotel collections.

Can I rent a car without a credit card?

Yes. A credit card is not required as a guarantee. You can pay on arrival in cash; card or PayPal payment can also be arranged with our team.

Is an advance payment needed for hotel collection?

Yes. A reservation advance payment is required for collections from hotels, including hotels in Heraklion and Agia Pelagia. Our team will confirm the amount and payment instructions. It is a payment towards your rental, not a security deposit against the car.

Are kilometres unlimited?

Yes. All kilometres are included in the rental price. There is no daily mileage allowance or extra kilometre charge for exploring Crete.

Is an additional driver free?

Yes. Additional drivers can be arranged free of charge. Each driver must meet the age and licence requirements, present their licence and be added to the rental agreement before driving.

Can you provide a baby seat or booster?

Yes. Baby seats and boosters are included on request. Tell us in advance what you need and the child’s age so that we can arrange suitable equipment for collection.

What happens if my flight is delayed?

There is no additional charge for a flight delay with Car Rental Stop. Give us your flight number and contact our team if your travel details change so that we can coordinate your arrival.

What is the permitted driver age?

Drivers must be aged 23 to 75. Every additional driver must also meet the rental requirements and be declared on the rental agreement.

When can I cancel without a cancellation fee?

There is no cancellation fee if you inform us at least seven days before the rental starts. Let us know as soon as your plans change. For shorter notice, contact our team about the conditions applicable to your reservation.
